Sources, language & examination rules
How source papers, translations, diagrams and examination answers are handled.
Our content promise
Previous-year questions enter the examination bank only after an operator has verified the source paper, original wording, options and answer key. Every question retains its source year, paper and question reference. AI never creates previous-year questions.
The library contains publicly downloaded publisher reproductions, complete PDFs and page images. These are not independently verified original scans. Publisher solutions are not official answer keys. Reviewed sources and answer keys are required for actual previous-year examinations. Paper-based AI mocks are separately labelled and use archived paper structures, without claiming verified syllabus coverage.
This is an independent examination portal, not an official service and not affiliated with SCERT Uttar Pradesh. No demo papers or invented previous-year questions are provided.
Good questions. Clear answers.
What makes an AI mock different?
Paper-based AI mocks generate new Hindi and English questions from the selected subject and semester's archived paper structure. They are not actual previous-year questions and do not claim verified syllabus coverage. Question counts, marks, written-answer formats and visual requirements are checked against the extracted source. AI-generated answers and diagrams may contain errors and are not official answer keys.
What happens if I refresh or lose my connection?
The server keeps your start time, deadline and saved answers. Refreshing does not reset the timer. Reconnect before the deadline to continue; answers arriving after the deadline cannot be accepted. Unsaved selections should be retried while time remains.
Can I pause an examination?
No. You may leave and resume an active attempt from the dashboard, but the timer continues. At expiry, the backend scores the answers saved before the deadline.
What is shared with the AI service?
Only archived paper images and the question structure needed to generate the mock. Student responses and session credentials are not sent for generation. Answer diagrams stay private until the examination is submitted.
Where are my examination records?
Your guest history is linked to a secure browser cookie that lasts 30 days. Clearing that cookie or changing browsers makes this guest history inaccessible. This installation does not yet offer account sign-in or cross-device recovery.
Why is a subject or semester unavailable?
Paper-based AI mocks are available where a complete archived paper can be read reliably. Actual previous-year examinations need reviewed source questions and answer keys. A source that cannot be read or validated is not silently replaced.
How are written and drawing answers marked?
MCQs are scored from their stored answer key. Written and drawing responses are saved and marked pending review, not automatically incorrect. The displayed objective score is partial while written-response evaluation is outstanding. This installation does not yet include an examiner grading console.
Are diagrams or questions left out?
Every PDF page is retained. The archive also saves publisher illustrations separately and checks source question and visual counts. Bilingual imports reject image-dependent questions without images. Mocks must satisfy the source blueprint's visual requirements; missing diagrams cause generation to fail, not shrink the paper.
Are all downloaded papers already bilingual?
No. The downloaded documents remain unchanged in their original language. Hindi and English question, option, model-answer and explanation fields are required for the examination bank. Translation drafts must be reviewed before publication; incomplete translations are never labelled as verified.
